Every country-life sim has a general store, and The Ranchers is no exception — it’s where you’ll buy seeds, tools and supplies, and often sell your goods. At its heart you can expect a shopkeeper: one of the townsfolk you’ll see most, and a natural early friendship as you settle into the community.

How relationships work
The Ranchers includes NPC interactions, friendship and marriage. Building relationships generally means regular conversation and well-chosen gifts. As the cast is revealed, this codex will fill in who’s who, where to find them, and what they love. For now, see the villagers overview.
